  • Descrizione: this chapter elaborates the ability to collaborate internally and externally. the environment in which people work under poor leaders will be more like the low performing noncollaborative culture expressed earlier where leaders garner no respect and the firm cannot collaborate effectively internally let alone externally. leaders who score highly are able to motivate and persuade stakeholders to stretch themselves and can bring the organization to work together. they are also likely to have a flexible style of leadership and management recognising that there are times when stamping and shouting are required and times when a more diplomatic approach would be better served. there are times when decisions should be made democratically and some circumstances when leaders need to make them unilaterally. a real skill is being aware when to use each one.
